At ALASKA IMAGE DESIGN we KEEP IT REAL !!! Our name means that the IMAGE, the IMAGE of you, that you want to present to friends, family members and loved ones is the REAL you. We custom design each Senior Grad portrait session to be fun, relaxing and comfortable. This ensures that you will look like yourself, no unnatural looking mug shots or portraits that look like you are uncomfortable and stiff. What you will notice when you look at our example Senior Grad images (and what really separates us from other studios) is that the Seniors look natural, relaxed, comfortable and attractive.
We work closely with each individual senior to make sure that they are relaxed and appear true to life and we can actually improve your appearance through lighting and other techniques. At ALASKA IMAGE DESIGN we know what Seniors want. You will notice that our Senior portraits are designed to complement the individual senior grad. This makes sure that you are the focus of attention, not a loud background, heavy shadows or unrealistic looking props. We don't use the same settings and props over and over and our outdoor shots are unique and dramatic one of a kind scenes, some taken at our outdoor mystery garden on the studio grounds. We also know all the very best outdoor and special locations around town. Our Theater stage studio is not a suburban house but a real full time professional studio centrally located in Anchorage's historic photography district, near Photo Avenue, within easy driving distance of all Anchorage and Eagle River high schools. (Mat-su and Statewide Seniors are always welcome too ! )
Our ongoing effort to KEEP IT REAL means that we won't overuse digital enhancement, to try to impress you to make up for poor posing technique and composition. We will never waste your time with unnecessary sales pitch consultations. When we say we are a professional studio, we mean it, unlike many Anchorage Studios that say they are professional, when in fact they produce amature level photography. You will also get a set of beautifully retouched real proofs/previews instead viewing images on a Video screen, that seldom look like the real portraits you will receive. All our Senior Grads are real, this is where your friends are. Why fake it, when you can have superior portraits that make you look good...or even better...THE REAL YOU !!!
